A pontarlier absinthe glass made by Masao Kozumi.
This glass is designed for use with absinthe, which would fill the bottom well, and the remainder of the glass would be filled with water and a sugar cube. A fine piece of handmade and mouth-blown glass for a special occasion.
Kozumi was born in Kumamoto 1979. After completing his studies at Toyama City Institute of Glass Art, he moved to Tokyo and worked in glass studios. He now lives and works in his studio in Gifu prefecture. He has received many prizes for his works. He uses iron content glass to create his glass wares which have green tint with antique look.
